This Cookie Policy explains how InstantStack (WebKenner) uses cookies and similar technologies on instantstack.co. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?

Server-side tracking vs cookies
We use server-side analytics to measure website traffic. Much of this processing happens on our server when you request a page — for example logging the page URL, referrer, and browser type. That does not always require a cookie.
However, we may still use first-party cookies for essential functions (such as remembering your cookie consent choice) or optional analytics features. This policy covers those browser-stored technologies.
Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting privacy preferences or filling in forms.
- Cookie consent — remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies so we do not ask again on every visit.
- Security and session — help protect the site and maintain basic session state where needed.
Legal basis: legitimate interest / strictly necessary for service delivery. Consent is not required for these cookies under EU ePrivacy rules.
Analytics cookies (optional)
If enabled, analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the site — for example which documentation pages are most read or which referral sources bring relevant traffic. These cookies are only placed after you give consent through our cookie banner.
Where possible, we prefer server-side analytics over third-party browser trackers. Any optional analytics cookies we use are first-party and limited to measuring our own website performance.

Third-party cookies

- Embedded content — if we embed third-party content (such as videos or social widgets), those providers may set cookies. We minimise embeds that track visitors without consent.
Cookie banner and consent
When you first visit instantstack.co, a cookie banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies remain active regardless of your choice because the site cannot function properly without them.
